Clash Royale August 2022 balance changes announced

Clash Royale will be making some nerfs and buffs to a variety of cards for August 2022, which will be Season 38 that should release in the early part of the month. While these aren’t set in stone yet, they do provide a benchmark for what you can expect to happen once the season goes live. The changes look pretty interesting and should shakeup the meta if all of them end up sticking around.

Work-in-Progress August 2022 Balance Changes

These changes were presented to the community as what they would be changing but have not been finalized.

  • Elixir Golem
    • Elixir Release has been changed from 0-0-4 to 1-1-2
      • Each time a Blob is released you get at least one Elixir.
    • Blob 1’s HP has been increased by 9%.
    • Blob 2’s HP has been increased by 6%.
  • Prince
    • Charge decreased from 3.5 tiles to 3 tiles.
  • Mega Knight
    • Jump Cooldown reduced from 1.1 seconds to 0.9 seconds.
  • Executioner
  • Max Range increased from 6.5 tiles to 7.5 tiles.
  • Ice Golem
    • Death Slow Effect increased from 1 second to 1.5 seconds.
  • Golden Knight
    • Health Points reduced by 10%.
  • Skeleton King
    • Maximum Resurrected Skeletons decreased from 18 to 16.
  • Electro Giant
    • Reflection Tower Damage has been reduced by 33%.
  • Fireball
    • Pushback has been reduced from 1.8 tiles to 1 tile.
  • Fire Spirit
    • Damage has been reduced by 9%.

Season 37 will be coming to a close in the not so distant future, so expect that these changes will likely stick around unless the community or Supercell finds that they are too drastic to go through with.
