Dead By Daylight creators reveal Meet Your Maker, an FP build and raid game, launching in 2023

Meet Your Maker is an upcoming first-person building-and-raiding game set in a dark post-apocalyptic future. From Behaviour Interactive, Meet Your Maker is launching on Xbox One, Xbox X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC in 2023.

The official reveal trailer for the game showcases what players can expect regarding the incredible high-quality graphics, storyline, and building and raiding possibilities.

Meet Your Maker is set in a dying world where players take on the role of the Custodian. The Custodian is a servant to the Chimera, who are living experiments created as a last resort to save life on Earth.

To help these creatures evolve, you must provide them with pure genetic material, the world’s most precious remaining resource. Thus, it’s challenging to find and obtain.

The game revolves around building and raiding stand-alone levels called Outposts for the genetic material you need. However, these Outposts are like a giant maze filled with traps and guards. So, if you decide to raid another person’s Outpost, you must be careful.

Outposts in the game are strategy-focused. The extractor cube, which houses the precious material, is located at the very heart of the structure. You’ll need to use the customization toolbox to create traps and guards to protect it. However, you will need to use them in tandem as one trap, or one guard won’t be enough to stop your enemies.

So, you’ll need to think strategically. Plan according to how you believe raiders will act to ensure they can’t steal your materials while you’re off raiding another Outpost. You can also join forces with your friends and build an Outpost or raid one.

From the creators of Dead by Daylight, build, raid, and outsmart your enemies in Meet Your Maker, launching on Xbox One, Xbox X|S, PS5, PS4, and PC in 2023. The cost of the game has yet to be revealed. Be sure to check out our Latest News section for more great content!
