The Knight Witch is an upcoming Metroidvania adventure game with fast-paced, shooter combat set in a beautifully hand-drawn world. From Super Mega Team and Team17, The Knight Witch is launching on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, and PC via Steam on November 29, 2022.

The official release date announcement trailer showcases general gameplay, deck building, and boss battles.

The Knight Witch is a game that takes players on a journey through the underground city of Dungeonidas, which has been plagued by a mysterious threat and an army of war golems. It’s up to Rayne to be named a Knight Witch and use her powers to save her city.

There are over 30 unique spell cards to choose from to build a magically destructive deck. Rayne also has Knight abilities that can be improved and upgraded, meaning players can develop and customize Rayne to suit their playstyle.

What’s interesting about this game is that Rayne thrives off of adoration and grows stronger with the support of the Dungeonidas’ citizens. This means that you can lie or be honest about the truths you uncover.

Some of the key features of The Knight Witch include:

  • Shooter Spellcasting Sorcery: You can choose whether to wield magic or use weapons to take down your enemies
  • Knight Witch Duality: Rayne can be customized to suit your playstyle with her Knight Witch abilities and different deckbuilding strategies.
  • Establish Bonds and Trust: Knight Witches become stronger with trust, which can be earned in various ways. As players, you can choose which is more critical: popularity or honesty.
  • Designed without barriers: this game has an on/off auto-aim system, cheats that can alter the world, and a central story navigation system that will ensure that players will never get lost.

Save the underground city of Dungeonidas from a mysterious threat using your magic and strategically-built deck in The Knight Witch. The retail cost for the game has yet to be revealed. Be sure to check out our Latest News section for more great content!
