Marvel is collaborating with EA’s Motive Studio to create a new Iron Man game!

EA Games has just revealed that a brand-new single-player, third-person, and action-adventure Iron Man video game is presently in the early stages of development at Motive Studio. Olivier Proulx, who has worked on previous Marvel titles such as Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, is leading the team, joined by a dedicated team of passionate industry veterans at the studio, including Ian Frazier, Ma’lenn Lumineau, and JF Poirier.

“We are thrilled to collaborate with the talented team at Motive Studio to bring their original vision of one of Marvel’s most important, powerful and beloved characters. Their experience delivering both established entertainment worlds and thrilling gameplay — combined with their authentic passion for the armored icon — will fuel our quest to deliver a love letter to a legendary hero in the form of the ultimate Iron Man video game.”

Bill Rosemann, Vice President and Creative Director of Marvel Games

Motive Studio is already well-known for its extensive expertise in the development of titles such as Star Wars: Squadrons and the forthcoming Dead Space reboot. The majority of these games provide players the opportunity to become their own heroes and explore a variety of realms popular among fans. Meanwhile, Executive Producer, Olivier Proulx, expressed his thoughts on the opportunity to create a video game based on one of the most iconic Super Heroes in entertainment today is both an honor and a privilege.

The pre-production phase of the Iron Man video game has officially begun. As part of an exciting new partnership between Marvel and Electronic Arts, the Iron Man game will be the first of many new titles that are expected to be launched in the near future.
