Fortnite leaker @HYPEX has teased fans with the return of the classic Flame Bow and the Dragon Breath Shotgun, due to roll out with a Wild Week at the end of this season. Here’s the tweet from @HYPEX, which shows off what each weapon looks like for the uninitiated:
Fortnite fans are none too pleased with the Dragon Breath Shotgun, which is perfectly reasonable. While the weapon itself is perfectly viable in-game, the cosmetic is plain to say the least. It suffers from the same kind of simplistic design you might see in an Apex Legends Battle Pass, adding a splash of color to a default manufacturer’s gray.
However, the Flame Bow is definitely worth looking forward to. Some newcomers to the game may not recognize it, but the Flame Bow was actually featured in Week 1 of the original Wild Week updates, back in May of 2021.
It was the highlight of a “Fighting Fire with Fire” theme, and really captures the aesthetic of a dragon compared to its company. The spiky scales and fiery arrows look terrific, and the bow plays well to boot. Honestly, any kind of dragonesque artwork is generally pretty tough to miss, so it’s odd that the shotgun doesn’t really bother.
These familiar weapons weren’t the only leaks and news for Fortnite, which has been pretty busy today. Crediting Tom Henderson, @HYPEX also added that a Dreamer outfit will be available on September 10th, to the dismay of fans that were hoping for the “Demon Girl”:
Fortnite has had a lot of troubled fans reach out about “Late Game Arena”, which needs to be fixed. It was one of the most anticipated game modes in the title’s history, because of its big team and competitive gameplay. So, it’s best to keep an eye on updates from the devs. You can read more about Fortnite’s latest updates by checking out our news section!
