Meanwhile, Genshin Impact version 2.8 is just approaching its final phase, but dataminers from the closed beta are already revealing details about the forthcoming Sumeru update. Recently, the Sumeru character, Cyno, was the highlight of a datamined content that reveals his Vision and Talents.

Cyno was initially introduced to fans in Genshin Impact’s official manga adaptation where he assisted another Sumer character, Collei, in sealing her Archon residue. Cyno also appeared in the Teyvat Chapter Storyline Preview, implying that he would have a significant role in upcoming Story Quests in Sumeru, particularly in Chapter III: Truth Amongst the Pages of Purana. The Storyline Preview also provided a sneak preview at Cyno’s in-game look, showing that he wields a Polearm and has Pyro vision, as indicated by the red gem on his belt.

Recently, Genshin Impact leak account, Waiting for Sumeru, shared a few details on Cyno’s Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst. The leak further claimed that Cyno’s C6 would suit the Thundering Fury artifact, implying that he would be an Electro Vision holder instead of a Pyro user. The following are the details on Cyno’s Talents according to leaks:

  • Elemental Skill: Dash Forward and deals damage, skill’s CD is very low.
  • Elemental Burst: Weapon infuses electro, changing the action of his Elemental Skill and Normal Attack. Also, the range and damage of Elemental Skill will increase.
  • Talent: Increase damage of Cyno’s Elemental Skills based on Cyno’s Elemental Mastery. C6 suits the Artifact “Thundering Fury.”

With the latest leak on Cyno, fans are eagerly awaiting his arrival and some of them may have already begun farming Thundering Fury Artifacts. Nonetheless, leaks are always subject to change. All details on Cyno will be confirmed soon on the latest Genshin Impact Special Program.
