Gran Turismo 7 1.25 update brings Maserati Mersak SS, Mazda Roadster NR-A, Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R, and Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3

The most recent patch for Gran Turismo 7 includes the addition of four new cars for players to experience.

Gran Turismo 7’s 1.25 update will be available today October 19 at 11:00pm PDT (October 20 at 7am BST / 3pm JST). The new update will introduce four new cars, such as Maserati Merak SS, Mazda Roadster NR-A, Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R, and Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3. Take a look at all the new features in the 1.25 update launch trailer, courtesy of PlayStation’s official Youtube channel:

Maserati Merak SS ’80 is a high-output model of the Merak that has been tuned for even sharper performance. The Maserati Merak was a mid-engine sports car introduced in 1972. The exterior stylings were very similar to the Bora, both having been designed by Giugiaro. In contrast to the Bora, which was a fastback, the Merak was a notchback with a fastback-style pillar. In 1975, the Merak SS, a high-performance variant, was introduced. The compression ratio was boosted and other modifications were done to tune the engine to 216 BHP, which improved the peak speed from 139.8 mph to 155.3 mph.

Mazda Roadster NR-A (ND) ’22 is a motorsports base model that exemplifies the fundamental characteristics of the Roadster. Released in 2015, the 4th generation ‘ND’ Roadster was lauded for its return to the Roadster’s original idea of ‘Jinba Ittai’ (“horse and rider moving as one”). The NR-A grade, a motorsports-oriented basic model, embodied the spirit of the ND in its purest form. With the incorporation of the new Kinematic Posture Control system, the rear-end stability of this 2022 model has been significantly enhanced. The options list includes racing equipment like roll bars and bucket seats, making it simple to convert this automobile into a thoroughbred racing machine.

Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R (KPGC110) ’73 is equipped with the same legendary engine, the S20 inline 6-cylinder. There was no change in the 157 HP maximum power and 130.1 ft-lb maximum torque. Maximum power remained at 157 horsepower, while maximum torque remained at 130.1 lb-ft. The front strut and rear semi-trailing arm suspension were identical to the previous GT-R, but the new four-wheel disc brakes were an improvement.

The Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 ’18 is an FIA GT3 production racing vehicle designed by Nismo based on the R35 variant of the GT-R. Since 2012, the GT3 version of the GT-R has been offered to buyers, but as of 2015, the basic model has been the GT-R Nismo, which has increased body stiffness. The 2018 model used a dry sump, enabling the engine to be positioned around 150 mm lower and 150 mm farther back in the engine compartment to reduce the vehicle’s center of gravity and improve weight distribution.

The new update also features new scapes such as “Autumn Leaves” and “Whitby.” Learn more about the new cars of Gran Turismo 7 1.25 update on the official website of PlayStation.
