Hindsight, a story-driven puzzle game, is launching in August

Hindsight is a point-and-click puzzle game from Team Hindsight and Annapurna Interactive. This story-driven game where physical objects can become literal windows into the past will launch on August 4, 2022, on Steam, Nintendo Switch, and the iOS App Store.

The official release date trailer shows the unique graphics and art style, puzzles, and a cryptic storyline that is both heartbreaking and heartwarming.

Hindsight is a 3D story-driven narrative game that explores the entirety of a woman’s life from her birth to the present day. Unfortunately, she struggles as she returns to her childhood home.

As you revisit her childhood home, it is filled with nostalgia and memories of the past. You are to sort through the personal belongings within the house and venture down memory lane to watch memories frozen in time.

She tries to make sense of everything that has happened to her and all the memories from her past. But it’s not easy; some contain nothing but happiness, and others do not.

While watching these memories, you may find yourself paying attention to details you didn’t notice in the past. As you piece together these tiny pieces of information, you’ll soon discover that your views have shifted.

Because of this, you will see a much larger picture, which tells a different story from the one you remember. As the saying goes, you sometimes only learn more about an event after it has occurred.

You can watch these memories for as long as you like, but you will have to return to the present at some point. When you do, you must decide what is worth keeping and what you will leave behind.

Piece together memories and solve the puzzles of a woman’s past in Hindsight, launching on Steam, Nintendo Switch, and the iOS App Store on August 4, 2022. The game’s price has not been announced. Be sure to check out our Latest News section for more great content!
