Dinkum is the newest farming and crafting game on Steam. In this down-under adventure, players can join up with their friends to explore a world based on the Australian outback. While the game may be a relaxing journey, building your town in the bush can be hard if you’re not prepared. In this guide, we’ll show you how to get chickens in Dinkum so you can start producing and selling eggs.
Where to find chickens in DInkum
Before you get your chickens in Dinkum, you’re going to need to make sure they have a place to stay. You’ll need to get your handling license, and then build a bird coop and a feeding box. Make sure you place both in an enclosed area, so when you do get chickens they don’t end up running off.
With your chicken motel prepared, you’ll have to do a bit of waiting. Irwin, the animal trader, will have to be on your island in order to get chickens or any other kind of farm animal. If you’re looking to have a large ranch, you want to befriend Irwin asap so you can get him to stay on your island.
At Irwin’s shop, you can purchase a chicken for 5000 dinks. This is fairly cheap, so you should aim to get at least two chickens for your egg farm. Once they’re purchased, drop your chickens in their enclosed area and make sure to provide them with plenty of food. Over time, your chickens will produce eggs that you can cook, sell, or craft.
