The announcement trailer for More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers, introduces the main characters of the series and their cute and exciting storyline.
In More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers, third-year high school student Jirou Yakuin had hoped to partner with the popular Shiori Sakurazaka in the Couple Practical course. In this course, students must show that they have the necessary skills to live with a partner of the opposite sex. They must present a certain level of harmony and happiness while being under video surveillance, which is how they’re graded.
However, his luck doesn’t prove fruitful, as he is partnered with Akari Watanabe, his polar opposite. Akari also wanted to be partnered with her crush, Minami Tenjin. But it turns out that Minami and Shiori have been paired together.
So, the two decide to work together to make it into the top ten partners. Doing this allows them to exchange their partners if the other couple agrees. Thus begins their cute and comedic start to finding happiness and love.
The romantic comedy series will be directed by Junichi Yamamoto, known for his work on Ninja Batman, Melody, and Out of My Head. While the entire cast list has yet to be revealed, the leading voice actors for this series include:
