A new era of the Ion skin is on its way to Valorant very soon!
The incredible skins that are made accessible to players are Riot Games’ most notable achievement with Valorant. The first-person shooter game features some of the most impressive weapon skins over the years. Every day, players swarm to their own shops to investigate the most recent bundle and examine the assortment of individual weapons skin that are available for purchase. Meanwhile, as the game head to a new Act, Valorant introduces a new skin collection. This time around, a skin collection will make a comeback, but with a new weapon bundle.
Riot has done this before, bringing back fan-favorite bundles and updating them with new weapons. Valorant released a new Reaver collection in August, which included some of the most impressive finishers in the game. In sharp contrast to the bladed gauntlet that was included in the previous package, the Ion 2.0 bundle will come with a Karambit knife. The weapon bundle includes Vandal, Ares, Spectre, Frenzy, and a Karambit Melee created in the signature Ion style. In addition to that, it will have color variations, which is something that its predecessor did not have. Watch the Ion skin reveal trailer, courtesy of Valorant’s official Youtube channel:
Valorant dataminer, ValorLeaks, claims that the Ion 2.0 Variants will consist of color combinations such as blue/white, green/black, and yellow/red. Despite this, Riot has not yet made any formal announcements on the color variants that will be made accessible or the unique finisher that they have planned for the skin. It is anticipated that the new Ion skin weapon collection would be released on October 18, along with the release of Episode 5 Act III. Ion skin 2.0 is expected to be a Premium bundle and should cost 7,100 Valorant Points when purchased from the in-game shop.
